Mulry Hall
- Description:
- On June 22, 1913, a cornerstone was placed into the Saint Peter's Club, a former social club, which was situated on the corner of Grand and Warren Streets. Rev. Joseph Mulry, S.J., the college president from 1911 to 1915, obtained the building to fulfill two needs: to advance the moral and ethical welfare of his students and to provide more room for the growing student enrollment. Part of the building was used as a classroom for high school students and another part was used for social events until Saint Peter's Prep took possession of it after the college closed in 1918 and transformed it into a classroom facility and renamed it Mulry Hall. Today it houses the prep's administrative offices, student counselors' offices, classrooms and the College Placement Center. (Campus and Buildings Collection)
